Wait, Peter Obi handed over N86billion to his predecessor Governor Willie Obiano? Photo

Reno Omokri just shared a copy of the handover note by former Anambra States Governor Peter Obi. The document reveals that Peter Obi who handed over to his predecessor Willie Obiano on March 17, 2014 left over N86 billion in the state’s treasury. This came at the heels of criticisms by some people who felt that he may be economical with the truth during his speech at the Platform,  an annual leadership, business and empowerment programme which held in Lagos.

The former Governor has at the programme suggested that the office of the First Lady should be scraped as it gulps huge sum of money to run. He also enunciated the importance of travelling with less entourage to save national cost.

Reno Omokri just shared the document on facebook wrote; “So sad seeing the tribal based criticism against Peter Obi on Social Media. Please let us appreciate a man who achieved this. If we had this at the federal level we wouldn't have to lie about 'investors faking over themselves' to invest in Nigeria!" See full document below;
