Heartbreaking photos of a blind, lame, deaf and dumb homeless man spotted at New Market, Enugu

The heartbreaking photos were shared by facebook user Agbalanze GranDeity who have been taking care of the old man with some friends after they spotted him aroun Aria road, New Market, Enugu. The old man is blind, deaf, dumb and can hardly use his limbs. His benefactors have been trying to locate any member of his family to no avail and efforts to get the Ministry of Gender Affairs and Social Welfare to give him a home has still not been granted. Read the story below;

First update…
I was still in bed this morning when my beautiful Miracle Nnam called me and said "Grandy, there's this man I really need us to meet, I believe he really needs us, I do drop Alms for him everyday but I believe he needs more than just alms, he cries everytime" I sluggishly went out of bed and contacted my sweet Claire Akunna and we all got set to go meet the man.
On getting to Aria road (New market Enugu) we saw this man lying on the ground like a log of wood, fully hopeless, fully down and out like an outcast, no one smiles at him, merely looking at him right there you'd feel he's dead. I gave him a tap and you needed to have seen the way he jumped to embrace me, having the feeling of someone ever touching him again in a long while... to our greatest surprise, HE IS DEAF, DUMB, BLIND and almost LAME, mentally okay but with SWOLLEN FEET caused by cars running over his legs I guess cos there were scars...
Claire gave him water to drink and he finished a whole bottle before one can say 'Jack'... He requested (with hand signs) we take him to a more convenient place so he can get away from the sun and have rest, we took him to the nearest bus stop where he does sleep, he brought out 100naira note and asked that we should help and buy him Fufu and Soup (With hand signs) Lol... Claire and Mimi rushed to get him the meal as I fed him a plate of rice we came with... Before they could return he was done with the plate of rice, finished 2wraps of groundnut and 1apple... Continued with the Fufu again and finished before it before we could say 'tom'... He gave us hugs one after the other, placed our hands on his chest, murmured few words and raised the hands to the heavens... We spent almost an hour with him giving him just LOVE, CARE and COMPASSION while people stopped, stare and wonder.
Now this is why I brought this particular story here... I need just 7volunteers who stays around New Market Enugu, it's not a big task and we don't need your money, if 7volunteers can volunteer to take food to this homeless man at least once a day, (One volunteer can choose to take too to this man every Monday, another will choose Tuesday, another Wednesday and so on)
Just 7persons staying around new market can give a new meaning to this man's life as he awaits his dying day... Don't come here to tell me God bless me... BE THAT VOLUNTEER or find someone who can.

Another update…
It has not been easy but we have no reason to give up on this man... We got to the bus stop this morning to meet our homeless daddy and we met a young girl by name "Chidimma" giving him medications.. I cried, my heart melted, NO REASON TO GIVE UP ON HUMANITY.
We joined her immediately, we gave him a good bath and got new clothes for him, we all chilled and ate together, did I tell you he even brushed his teeth by himself? (He's not a liability, he loves helping himself)
We left the place in search of his people, we got a hint from a reliable source that he was once a barrow pusher at Aquata Market Enugu before the blindness struck... We trekked down to the market and they all know him but no one knows where actually he is coming from, A man who knew him from the 70's told us he met him as a hustling deaf and dumb man before age took away his strength and got him in that state, then the blindness came.
The search continues tomorrow, FINDING HIS PEOPLE, A source asked us to return on Monday to see if he can gather some information.... We are never stopping.
Shoutout to ma homies... Dyce Eze Claire Akunna Shredder Charles andUchendu Enemuo our new friend for turning up for this mission today.
You can help us in the search... Show your neighbours his picture, ask them to ask around... I refuse to believe he has no one around... LET'S DO THIS TOGETHER!

Another update…
They promised me they'll come and pick this man up before close of work yesterday and take him to the Rehab centre... Because it's Government something, I know they won't do it and they didn't do it... We were at the bus stop this morning and still met the man lying hopelessly.
Tomorrow is Sunday, Monday and Tuesday will be public holidays, means this old man with his weak bones and disabilities will still be exposed to the cold of the night until Wednesday when I'll go and make trouble at the Ministry of Gender Affairs and Social Welfare.
I know they at the ministry do not think like humans, they don't imagine if he was their father or someone related to them. I do not want to curse, cos if I should pour out my emotions right now... Hell will befall them this week.
