Enugu state Governor Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, NFF Chairman, Amaju Pinnick and others few hours ago visited National Orthopedic Hospital, Enugu to assess the extent of injury sustained by Rangers player Ifeanyi Egwim who suffered a fracture at the dying minutes of the match against El Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri. The governor ordered that the injured player be given the best of medical attention, even if it entails flying him abroad to enable him play football again.
Meanwhile, Rangers of Enugu beat El Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri 4-0 to win this seasons Nigeria’s Professional Football League (NPFL) title after 32-years. Big congrats to them. More photos below;
