Photos: 15-year-old boy crowned king in Delta state after his father is killed by kidnappers

Chukwuka Noah Akaeze, a 15-year-old secondary school student and heir to the throne of Ubulu-Uku community has ascended the throne after his father the late King Obi Edward Ofulue III was kidnapped and later murdered by those suspected to be Fulani herdsmen. Speaking during the installation ceremony, the palace secretary, Joseph Obaze said a regent will be appointed to manage the stool while the new king pursues his education. The teenager will also be accorded all the rights and privileges that due a monarch as the culture of the community demands.
