Police rush to Singer Sinead O'Connor's hotel room after she posted suicide note on facebook

Veteran singer Sinead O'Connor, raised fears over health after she posted a suicide note on facebook. The 48-year-old mother of 4 claimed she had taken an 'overdose' in a hotel in Ireland which she had booked under another name. Police later confirmed that she has been found and is being given medical assistance. O’Connor is best known for her 1990 hit 'Nothing Compares 2 U.'

In an extract from her troubling Facebook post, the singer said she had 'taken an overdose' in a hotel 'somewhere in Ireland' 
In another post yesterday, the singer revealed how she was quitting the music industry Concerned fans such as Sue Holden Smith urged the singer to stay strong and keep fighting 
Anita Hoffmann asked for the singer to 'get help' as fans flooded her Facebook page with heartfelt messages
